Providing efficient and friendly service to the citizens of Mesa County is our highest priority, offering customer service Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Our website is an excellent tool of informing the citizens about the functions of our office. The County Treasurer is responsible for collecting all real and personal property taxes for the county, school districts, municipalities, and special districts located in the county, and for collecting use tax for building materials purchased outside of Mesa County for use in the county.
Other duties of the County Treasurer include receiving, disbursing, investing and maintaining correct and proper accounting of all monies received by Mesa County.
Reports of the fiscal activity for the county are submitted to the County Commissioners and published semi-annually. We welcome your questions and comments and look forward to hearing from you.
